skill in breeding, training and riding horses
Huhhot is famous for its racecourse that is the largest
in China. There are two gigantic interconnecting buildings shaped like
traditional yurt Mongol tents, forming the gargantuan stadium. The local
people love their racing. And the betting is fast and furious. Traditional
singing and dancing displays are held for evening meetings.
